jrForum Timezones

A suggestion to be able to select your timezone for the forum. At the moment here at JR all the times are 18 hours behind me ( Australia ) Gets confusing sometimes thats all. Be great to select your own timezone in your profile or account settings. Edit: Actually on further thought it would be better if it was an account setting so it went sitewide

recent jrForum posts

I would like to have a list of most recent forum posts on my home page. How would I do this? I've tried a basic jrCore list command, but it looks like it may be more complicated than using the modules item_list.tpl to output on the front page.
jrForum requires jrAction

I noticed that the latest update to jrForum 2.1.0 makes jrAction a requirement. We don't have jrAction enabled on academicskills - is this likely to cause much of a problem with our forums? Thanks
Possible glitch with jrForum on jamroom.net

My first visit to the ning forum (may have been my second) the top level forum list showed unread topics in all sub forums. I opened all sub forums in tabs. The first tab I looked at showed unread posts, but the others showed no unread posts. Clicking on the "my posts" tab on the ning forum shows me a list of all threads, although I haven't posted to the ning forum at all.
SOLVED - jrForum - Create a forum to be used and only visible to one group ie: Admins

We have a few people involved with what we do. We would like to add them into the Admin group and have our own section where we can interact. Is there anyway of using jrForum and setting it so only one group can see it in our main profile that we are going to use for the forum? Like hiding a category or something?
